The prestigious Aryabhata award for recognition of service in the field of cinema has been given BK Srinivas, noted producer of Kannada cinema who recently completed 25 years of wedding life.

BK Srinivas was given the prestigious award in the presence of Ramesh Aravind and Vishwa Vani editor Vishweshwara Bhat in Bengaluru.

A humble producer and good humanity in his nature BK Srinivas is producer of Mandakini, Alemaari, Bhagirathi, Dove, Angulimaala Kannada films. Alemaari and Bhagirathi are 100 days run films.

BK Srinivas also known as Benkosri was distributor of Jogaiah Kannada film.
